Event Information: The Friday Night Series is a series of late night events put on by the Intramural Sports program. The best part? Friday Night Series events are free to participate in! They include free pizza for participants and a whole lot of fun!

Registration Information: Pre-Registration begins on Monday, August 17 at 8:00 a.m. During Pre-Registration, captains can start their teams, and begin sending invitations to teammates to build the roster. Once official registration opens on Monday, August 24, you can move your team to the "Tournament" division, once you have three players on your roster. Moving your team to the "Tournament" division just confirms that you plan to be there! Registration closes on Wednesday, September 2 at 11:59 p.m. Instructions on how to start a team, or how to join a team, can be found on our IMLeagues Registration Instructions page. We can only accommodate the first 16 teams that complete registration for this event!

Event Date and Time: Friday, September 4 beginning at 7:00 p.m. The event will last until approximately 11:00 p.m. for teams that continue advancing. Schedules will be sent by Thursday, September 3 following the registration deadline.

Event Location: Matches will take place at the Hawkeye Recreation Fields Sand Volleyball Courts. Information on how to get to the Hawkeye Recreation Fields from main campus can be found here.

Event Format: Teams will play a single elimination tournament to determine the champion!

Leagues Available: "Open" is the only league available for the Friday Night Series Sand Volleyball tournament. An "Open" league means there are no gender requirements for teams.

Intramural Membership: No Intramural Sports membership is required for this event.
