Lagoon Shelter House Hangout

Join us at the Lagoon Shelter House on May 2 from 5-8 p.m.

The Lagoon Shelter House is a historical building to the University of Iowa.  New to Recreational Services, this building is our hub for adventure recreation.  Located along the Iowa River, join us for a relaxing experience outdoors.

Join us at the Lagoon Shelter House on May 2 from 5-8 p.m.! We'll be having all kinds of activities! Test your balance by walking on a slackline. Take a load off and hang out in a hammock. Tell some stories around the campfire (or make a s'more). We'll also have LIVE MUSIC from 6-7:30! Make sure to stop by and enjoy the adventure!

The Lagoon Shelter House is located along the Iowa River.  From main campus, take the Iowa River Trail north towards Hancher Auditorium.  The building is located on the west side of the river.  Building details can be found here

The Hancher Commuter Lot is located just to the north of the Lagoon Shelter House.  Details about the lot can be found here
