During your first meeting, you will consult with your trainer to discuss your current training status and help define your goals.  We will also go through a 30-minute movement screen to assess your movement mechanics, strength, balance, posture, and more.

The Movement Screen

As part of your training package you will receive a movement screen and consultation before we begin your workouts. These will allow us to:

  • Assess your ability to perform a squat and lunge, balance, shoulder mobility, strength, flexibility, and stability.
  • The series of screens are non-stressful and straightforward on your body - they will help us understand how your body is moving and what imbalances need to be addressed.
  • After collecting data and assessing your movement patterns, we will create a program specifically for you to correct and improve your movement patterns in order to reach your fitness goals.
