Juniors Learn to Row

Have you ever wanted to try rowing? Give it a try this summer with a 2-day camp, teaching you the basics of the rowing stroke. After the camp, anyone who is interested is welcome to join the Juniors Rowing Program. This fee goes toward Juniors Fall Programming. 

Wear fitted athletic apparel, sunscreen, and bring a water bottle.  All fitness levels and athletic backgrounds can learn to row.  Come try it out!

Learn to Row Day (Ages 18+)

Have you ever wanted to try rowing? We are offering you the chance to learn about the sport – in a quick 1.5-hour session that will include: learning the rowing stroke on land with rowing machines and the indoor tank room, followed by a short row on the Iowa River. Space is limited, and spots go very quickly.

Wear fitted athletic apparel, sunscreen, and bring a water bottle.  All fitness levels and athletic backgrounds can learn to row.  Come try it out!

    "Experience Rowing" - Learn to Row Series (18+)

    Join us and experience the sport of rowing in our new program format. 

    Day one is a three-hour session that includes learning the rowing stroke on land with the rowing machines and indoor tank room, followed by a two-hour row on the Iowa River. 

    Days two through five include four 1.5-hour sessions on the Iowa River learning and perfecting your rowing stroke!

    Get out on the Iowa River and learn about the sport of rowing!
