Juniors

Have you ever wanted to try rowing? Give it a try this summer with this 2 day camp. You will learn the basics of the rowing stroke and have the opportunity to try both sweep and sculling boats. After the camp, anyone who is interested will be welcome to join the Juniors Rowing Program. This camp is intended for rowers ages 12 - 18. Registration will close on August 20th. Rowers must be at least 5'0.

Wear fitted athletic apparel and bring a water bottle.  All fitness levels and athletic backgrounds can learn to row.  Come try it out!

  • There are currently no learn to row offerings at this time.  If interested in learning to row, please contact Amy Smith!

Adult (Masters)

Learning to row is an exciting experience!  You will learn the basics of rowing in a fun, relaxed environment in under 3 hours!  We will cover how to row on the rowing machines and in the tank room, as well as discussion about rowing equipment and lingo.

Winter Class Dates:

  • Saturday, January 4: 8:00 - 11:00 AM
  • Sunday, February 23: 8:00 - 11:00 AM

Registration:

  • UI Students: $15
  • Non-UI Students: $40
