Event Information: Have you ever wanted to kick a field goal at Kinnick Stadium? Now is your chance, and you might even win an Intramural Champion T-shirt! As part of our Kickoff Classic event as part of On Iowa!, registered participants can compete to see who can kick the longest field goal as part of the Kick at Kinnick competition! Be sure to check out all the information below for more details!

Registration Information: Individuals can register in advance beginning at 8 a.m. on Monday, August 18. Or, individuals can register on-site at the Intramural Sports Kickoff Classic at Kinnick Stadium on Friday, Aug. 22, at approximately 8 p.m.. Instructions on how to register can be found on our IMLeagues Registration Instructions page. The competition will begin at about 9 p.m.

Event Format: Participants will have two attempts to make a field goal from each distance starting from the 15-yard line for Men's/Open or 10-yard line for Women's, moving back in increments of five yards. Kickers may continue to advance to the furthest distance at the 40-yard line. Any participants tied for the furthest kick in both the Men's/Open and the Women's leagues will be invited to participate in the "Final Kick-Off"

Leagues Available: Men's/Open and Women's Leagues are available for this sport.

Intramural Membership: An Intramural Sports Membership is not required to participate in this sport, as it is FREE!
