Everyone's favorite Halloween Bouldering Competition is back!

Black Cats and Gym Rats is going to be bigger than ever before! We will expand our bouldering into the Top Rope area to include more bouldering on new terrain. Climbers will get to compete on 30 unique boulder problems with climbs to choose for climbers of every ability level. Regardless of ability level or experience, this event is for you!

There will also be a crash pad stacking competition in the Top Rope area (like milk crate stacking, but with crash pads), and prizes for best Halloween costume!

P.S. Boulders will be taken down immediately after the event, so make sure to register!

Format: Climbers will be divided into two groups. Each group will get two 1-hour climbing sessions for a total of 2 hours of climbing for each competitor. In order to keep the flow of the event going, there will be no transition periods between climbing sessions.

Climbers will be scored on the highest number of completed boulder problems with tie breakers going to attempts needed to complete the problems. If there is still a tie between competitors, the winner will be determined by whoever has the best Halloween costume! The crowd will be the judge!
