Registration Information: You can start your registration on IMLeagues beginning Monday, Aug. 14 at 8 a.m. in the "Pre-Registration" area. Beginning at 8 a.m. on Monday, April 1, once you have two players on your roster, you can pay the registration fee and move your team into the "Tournament" division to confirm that you plan to participate, and complete your registration. Don't worry about starting now and forgetting, we'll send a reminder email to everyone in the Pre-Registration area when it comes time to finish your registration! Teams must complete all steps of registration by the registration deadline of Tuesday, April 23 at 11:59 p.m. in order to be included in the sport. Instructions on how to register can be found on our IMLeagues Registration Instructions page. Please note, we can only accommodate the first 36 teams that complete registration, including payment.
Event Format: Two-person scramble. Each player hits a tee shot. The team selects the best tee shot, and both players hit from that spot. This process continues until the ball is holed. The winning team will receive Intramural Champion T-shirts. All players will be entered into a raffle to win a variety of prizes from sponsors throughout the Iowa City/Coralville/North Liberty area.
Event Date and Time: Sunday, April 28. Tee times between noon and 2 p.m. at Finkbine Golf Course. After registration ends, teams will be paired and assigned tee times. Tee times will be communicated to teams no later than Thursday, April 25.
Leagues Available: "Open" is the only league available for this sport. An "Open" league means there are no gender requirements or restrictions.
Intramural Membership: An Intramural Sports Membership is not required to paticipate in the Intramural Golf Tournament, however, there is a $102/team registration fee. This fee includes the 18-hole round with golf cart, as well as a hot dog, chips, and a drink prior to the round. Range balls are available for purchase the day of the event at Finkbine.
