Event Information: This event will be the second spring semester event of the 2023-2024 Intramural Sports Friday Night Series. The Friday Night Series is a series of late night events put on by the Intramural Sports program. There will be FREE pizza, prizes given away, and participation is FREE! You can participate in one Friday Night Series event, or you can participate in all of them....it's all up to you!
Registration Information: Pre-Registration begins on Monday, Aug. 14 at 8 a.m. During Pre-Registration, captains can start their teams, and begin sending invitations to teammates to build the roster. Once official registration opens on Thursday, Feb. 22, 2024, you can move your team to the "Tournament" division, once you have four players on your roster. Moving your team to the "Tournament" division just confirms that you plan to be there! Registration closes on Thursday, Feb. 29 at 11:59 p.m. Instructions on how to start a team, or how to join a team, can be found on our IMLeagues Registration Instructions page. We can only accommodate the first 16 teams that complete registration for this event!
Event Date and Time: Friday, March 1 beginning at 7 p.m. in the Campus Recreation & Wellness Center (CRWC) MAC Gym. The event will last approximately three hours for teams that continue advancing. Schedules will be sent by noon on Friday, March 1, following the registration deadline.
Event Format: Teams will be split into divisions (pools) of four teams for pool play. Each team will play the other three teams in its four-team division. The top finishing team from each division will advance to the single elimination tournament bracket. Teams that do not qualify for, or get eliminated from, the single elimination tournament can stick around and play more matches on an adjacent CRWC court.
Leagues Available: "Open" is the only league available for the Friday Night Series Dodgeball tournament. An "Open" league means there are no gender requirements for teams.
Intramural Membership: No Intramural Sports membership is required for this event.
