Rowing is a dynamic sport that everyone can enjoy. This camp will teach the basics of rowing, starting on land and then moving into the boats on the river. Participants will learn rowing terminology, boat handling, and how to move a boat on the Iowa River!    

Session 1 - 4 days. Monday thru Thursday, June 24-27. 9–11 a.m.

Items to wear and bring for participation: weather-appropriate apparel, hat, sunglasses, water bottle and sunscreen. Baggy clothing is discouraged as it may get caught in the equipment.  

Required: Participants must be at least 12 years old, 5’0 tall and able to lift 25 lbs over their head.  

Registration is required. Attendance each day is recommended. There are no refunds 3 days prior to the start of each session.
