Wilderness First Aid is offered through SOLO. Please note that we are no longer offering the Wilderness First Responder course.

Wilderness First Aid

The WFA is the perfect course for the outdoor enthusiast or trip leader who wants a basic level of first aid training for short trips with family, friends, and outdoor groups. The WFA is 16 hours long (two days), and focuses on first aid knowledge such as response & assessment, trauma, environmental emergencies, and soft tissue damages. The WFA course can be used to recertify a WFR too. CPR and First Aid Certification included at no additional cost. Please contact brian-a-froelich@uiowa.edu for more details and any questions.

Registration closes May 2 at 5:00pm.
