Sport Description

What happens when you combine volleyball, four square and racquetball? Spikeball! The newest Intramural craze to sweep the nation has made it to The University of Iowa. In Spikeball, teams of two team up to play this fast-paced, exciting game. Once the serve is hit against the circular net near the ground, it bounces back up and the game is on. Teams have three hits to hit the ball back against the net, no player can hit the ball twice in a row, and after the serve players can run 360° around the net! Spikeball keeps you on your toes, gets you active, and is a whole lot of fun. So make sure to get signed-up and be a part of The University of Iowa’s newest Intramural sport!
