Recreational Services Staff Alumni Tailgate | Recreational Services
The University of Iowa

Join us for the first annual Recreational Services Staff Alumni Tailgate. The goal of this event is to allow past student and professional staff members to come back, catch up, and have a good time. Family and friends are welcome at this event (including kids) but must attend with an alum. Below are some more details on this year's event!

Date: Saturday, September 26 before the Iowa Football game vs. North Texas. Game time is TBD.

What: Recreational Services will be offering a meal, water, pop and a discounted ticket to the game vs. North Texas. If you already have game tickets, you can still register for the tailgate and take part in the fun!

Registration Process: To order your tailgate admission and game tickets, click here. Family and friends are welcome to attend (including kids), but must attend with an alum. To order more than 5 game tickets, please contact Tommy Schorer. You will receive more information on how to pick-up your tickets as we get closer to the event.

Other Information:

For those of you who have not been in the Campus Recreation and Wellness Center, the $70 million facility that opened in August 2010, we will be offering a tour of the facility the Friday night before the game, September 25 at 7:00 PM. All you have to do is indicate when you register for the tailgate that you would like to be in the tour group, and you're set. The facility is two blocks away from downtown Iowa City, so dinner and drinks with friends can follow!

As mentioned, Recreational Services will be providing food, water and pop for those registered to attend the event. Attendees are welcome to bring items not offered by Recreational Services.

If you have any questions about the event, please contact Tommy Schorer.
