Olympic Weightlifting Basics

Learn Olympic lifts, clean & jerk, and snatch. Increase muscular strength and speed in this four-week session! We will build the foundation for Olympic lifting through proper progressions with emphasis on form and technique. This specialty class includes a proper warm up, cool down, and accessory exercise to target the main muscle movers in Olympic lifts. Additionally, participants will be educated on safety and exercise programming to pursue long-term progress.

  • Session 1 | Tuesdays/Thursdays, February 9 - March 4 (4 weeks) | 11:30 a.m. - 12:30 p.m.
  • Session 2 Tuesdays/Thursdays, March 9 - April 1 (4 weeks) | 11:30 a.m. - 12:30 p.m.
  • Session 3 | Tuesdays/Thursdays, April 6 - April 29 (4 weeks) | 11:30 a.m. - 12:30 p.m.
