Indoor Soccer Sport Rules

Sportsmanship is a priority of the Intramural Sports Program at The University of Iowa. More information on Sportsmanship, including the detailed ratings system, can be found here.
Only University of Iowa students, faculty, staff and affiliates that have purchased an Intramural Sports membership may participate in Intramural Indoor Soccer. To purchase a membership, click here. Team captains must make sure that all members of their teams are eligible. Intramural Sports Eligibility rules and regulations can be found here.
All participants must check-in with a University or government-issued photo ID. More information about our ID policy can be found here.
Teams forfeiting games will be charged a Forfeit Fine of $50.00. That fine will be charged to the U-Bill of the team captain. Learn more about the Forfeit Fine policy, and how to avoid a forfeit by defaulting, by clicking here.
Registration, schedules, and roster management all take place through IMLeagues.com. Click here for specific instructions on how to register your team, and make sure to pass it along to your teammates so they can join your team roster quickly and easily. Once registration is complete, team schedules will be posted on IMLeagues.com, as well as results and standings as the season gets underway.
Rec*It Mobile App
The official mobile app for IMLeagues.com has hit The University of Iowa. Click here for specific instructions on how to register your team using Rec*It, and make sure to pass it along to your teammates so they can join your team roster quickly and easily. Once registration is complete, team schedules will be posted on IMLeagues.com, and can be viewed on Rec*It, as well as results and standings as the season gets underway.

Games will be played at the Hawkeye Tennis and Recreation Complex. Alcohol and tobacco are not permitted in the facility, or in the parking lot. Food and drinks, other than bottled water, are not permitted in the turf area.
Friday Night Series
Intramural Sports hosts a Friday Night Series of events throughout the year. You can participate in one or all. Click here for more information on the Intramural Sports Friday Night Series.
Coach's Corner Intramural Sports Points Championship
Each year, Intramural Sports crowns Points Champions in Men’s, Women’s, Fraternity, Sorority, and Co-Rec. All you have to do to compete is play multiple Intramural Sports, and keep the same team name throughout all sports. More information on this awesome competition can be found here.
To complete your registration, make sure you have the following done by the registration deadline:
- Pass the Captain's Quiz
- Name your Team (Team Name Must be Appropriate)
- Get the Required Minimum Number of Players on Your Roster
- Select a Division
