Unsure what pose your yoga teacher is calling out during class? Or are you already familiar with standing yoga poses but want to know more about their variations and benefits? This two hour workshop will be a deep-dive into the structure, basis, and benefits of the foundational standing yoga postures, including poses such as Mountain Pose, Downward Dog, Extended Triangle, Side Angle, Intense Side Stretch, Warrior I, and Warrior II. Each pose will be covered with in-depth step-by-step instructions and detailed descriptions of benefits, limitations, variations, and use of props. After completing this workshop, you will feel fully prepared to master these poses in your next class or to incorporate them more at the end of your cross training workouts!
