Sport Description

You've played Intramural 5-on-5 Dodgeball before (or maybe you haven't), but it's time to ramp-up the intensity. Friday Night Series Intramural Dodgeball will put two teams of three inside a racquetball court, give them three dodgeballs total, and away they'll go! The team that is able to keep up with this exciting sport, and do some serious dodging, will be our champions. This event is a great way to be active, get some exercise, and have a lot of fun on a Friday night with friends. So, get your team together and get ready to have some fun!

Important Information

This $20.00/semester membership allows you to participate in almost any Intramural sport/event that semester. There is no cost to register a team, but team members must purchase the Intramural Sports Membership before joining/creating a team. Directions on how to purchase an Intramural Sports Membership can be found here.
  2. All teams must have at least three players to participate. Three players per team will be on the court at one time.
  3. Before the start of the tournament, each player must present a valid UI or government-issued photo ID to participate.
  4. There is no limit to the size of a team’s roster. However, a team must have at least three players to complete registration. Teams may add players to the roster until the start time of the tournament’s first match.
  5. Each team is guaranteed two matches. There will be a consolation bracket, but teams that lose their first round matches will not be able to come through to win the championship like in a double elimination bracket.
  6. Any forfeit/no-show will result in a Forfeit Fine of $50.00. This fine is charged to the University Bill of the team captain.
  7. Matches are self-officiated. All participants are expected to know the rules of the sport, which can be found at the "Rules" link above.
  8. In order to receive Co-Rec Coach’s Corner Intramural Sports Points Championship points, teams must have one male and one female signed-in and participating in the event at all times. More information on the Coach’s Corner Intramural Sports Points Championship can be found here.
  9. Each competing organization is allowed only two team entries to accumulate points in the Coach’s Corner Intramural Sports Points Championship, but there is no maximum on the amount of teams that can register for an organization. The top two finishing teams for each organization will be counted towards the point total. Teams must designate their organization affiliations before the event begins.
