Pete has been working at the Hawkeye Tennis and Recreation Center as a tennis instructor and at the front desk. As an instructor, he worked with both kids and adults - making him a very well-rounded teacher. Thanks to Pete for your work the past few years at the HTRC!

Position: Tennis Instructor/Membership at HTRC

Year: I am a senior and studying Psychology and receiving my entrepreneurial certificate.

Hometown: Glen Ellyn Illinois

How long have you worked for us? About 2 and a half years.

Favorite part of working for RecServ: The diverse group of people that I see and meet that come through our doors.

What have you learned from working at RecServ: Quick problem solving, how to communicate better with customers, as well as employees.

Tell us a little bit about what you do as a tennis instructor: In the past year I have taught individual and group lessons. My focus was on kids lessons but I do like leading the adult classes, too. I have switched over to working the front desk at the HTRC and I am currently teaching one kids class and 2 adult classes.

Something interesting about yourself: In high school, the student body elected me as best dancer for senior most.

What do you do in your spare time? Watch movies.

Any plans/thoughts on what you’ll do after you graduate? Make enough money to travel to Europe!

If you could eat any food every day for the rest of your life without any health consequences, what would it be?  Chocolate chip cookie dough.
