Position: Intramural Supervisor

Year/Major: Junior, Speech and Hearing Science Major

Hometown: Worthington, IA

How long have you worked for us?: I have worked for Rec Services for 3 years.

What have you learned from working here?: I have learned leadership skills as well as conflict resolution.

Something interesting about yourself:  I have never been on an airplane.

What do you do in your spare time?:  In my spare time I volunteer with my Service Fraternity, Alpha Phi Omega, watch Netflix (Frasier, Cheers, or House are my go-to's), and hang out with friends.

What is one thing you wish everyone knew about working for intramurals?: I wish everyone knew how small and close-knit and funny our staff is.

What are your plans for after graduation?: Hopefully Graduate school and then a career in Speech Pathology.

If you could eat any food every day for the rest of your life without any health consequences, what would it be?:  I would eat meatloaf and mashed potatoes with gravy.

What Jessica's Supervisor has to say about her: Jessie is a leader on the Intramural Sports staff. We can always turn to her for extra help when we need it, and we know that when she is working things are going to be done the right way. She has been an invaluable asset to our program, and we’re thankful to have her. - Tommy Schorer, Associate Director - Sport Programs
