Position: Field House Facility Supervisor

Year/Major: Senior in the Tippie College of Business Economics Major with a Sustainability Certificate

Hometown: Frankfort, Illinois

How long have you worked for us?: This is my second year working for Rec Services

What have you learned from working here?: Since I began working at the Field House, I've realized how much pride the local community takes in being a part of the University of Iowa culture. Whether they are simply Iowa City residents or alumni of the school, every person I speak to has nothing but positive regards and good memories about their experiences with the university.

What is something interesting about yourself?: One interesting fact I like to tell people (even though it's not really about me) is that my mother's maiden name is O'Donnell.

What do you like to do in your spare time?: When I have free time, I use it to workout, play basketball, cook, watch TV/play videogames, or take a well-deserved nap.

What is one thing you wish everyone knew about working in your position?: I wish more people knew how much the Field House has to offer! Not only are the Fitness Loft and South Gym available, but we also have the necessary equipment and space to play almost any sport imaginable.

Do you have any plans for after graduation?: I haven't created an exact play for after graduation because I don't want to limit myself on career options, but I do hope to get involved in business sustainability.

If you could eat any food every day for the rest of your life, without any health consequences, what would it be?: Candy! Especially Reese's Fast Breaks... don't sleep on Fast Breaks.
