Bridget is a HR Assistant at the CRWC. We love having her as a part of our hiring process for all employees at Recreational Services!

Position: Recreational Services Human Resources Assistant

Year/Major: Senior, Communication Studies/ Human Relations/ Leadership

Hometown: Cascade, IA

How long have you worked for us?: 7 months

What have you learned from working here?: I have learned so much since I have started working with Recreational Services, it’s truly hard to put into words. A few examples include basic human resources skills that will help me after graduation, time management, how to work well in team environments, and that hard work does pay off.

Something interesting about yourself: I went to Disney World four times in four years during high school.  The magic feeling never goes away!

What do you do in your spare time?: In my spare time I like to spend time with my friends and family. I also love watching movies and shopping

What is one thing you wish everyone knew about working at the CRWC?: The work environment at the CRWC is fun, along with all the people!

Any plans for after graduation?: After graduation, I hope to move to a larger city to further my human resources career.

If you could eat any food every day for the rest of your life without any health consequences, what would it be?: I feel like I eat tacos almost every day of my life already so I would have to go with any mexican food.

What Bridget’s supervisor says about her: Bridget is a superior employee and a major asset to our team. She always goes above and beyond to get the job done. Bridget helps oversee the hiring process for the Recreational Services part-time staff and plays a major role by helping make sure that our positions get filled in a timely manner. Bridget’s positive attitude, work-ethic, and overall joy for HR makes working with her a great experience. Thank you, Bridget! – Colton Smith
