Brett is one of the amazing Facility Supervisors at the HTRC. Thank you for all the hard work and dedication you have put into the #recservfam over the past 2 years.

Position: Hawkeye Tennis & Recreation Complex Supervisor

Year/Major: Senior, Ancient Civilization and Sociology

Hometown: Clinton, IA

How long have you worked for us?: 2 years

What have you learned from working here?: I have learned cross-cultural interaction skills.

Something interesting about yourself:  I am a Research Assistant for the University of Iowa Center for the Study of Group Processes.

What do you do in your spare time?: Workout and ride motorcycles with my roommates.

What is one thing you wish everyone knew about working at the HTRC?: While working at the HTRC you are able to interact with people ranging from community professionals to young children, requiring strong interpersonal skills.

Any plans for after graduation?: I will be an Army 2nd Lieutenant in December.

If you could eat any food every day for the rest of your life without any health consequences, what would it be?:  Subway Sandwiches.

What Brett's supervisor has to say about him: Even though Brett works as a Research Assistant in a different department, is heavily involved in the Army ROTC program and going to school full time, he still finds the time to work extremely hard as a Facility Supervisor at the HTRC. Brett takes his job very serious and is always willing to help us out when we are in a bind or short staffed. We greatly appreciate his hard work and dedication that he consistently exhibits while fostering a positive attitude. Brett will be missed when he graduates! - Brigham Phillips
