Originally from a small, rural town in central Iowa, I've called Iowa City home for the past eight years. While in high school, I was heavily involved in track & field, cross country, and long distance running. Since coming to the University of Iowa, my interests turned to strength training. As a charter member of the University of Iowa Powerlifting Club, I have competed quite a bit in the strength training world. I have found my time spent in the gym to be infectious and I am always optimistic my clients will learn to love their time training the same way I do, whether that be strength training, weight loss, or just feeling more confident in the gym.
