Bio:

I have always been interested in fitness and athletics from a young age. I played many sports growing up. In high school, I focused on football, basketball, and track and field. Playing sports, lifting weights, and being active is how I got into the fitness world. I ended up playing college football for one year at Grand View University, and after I transferred to the University of Iowa. I have been focused on the science of exercise from the age of 14 and I always knew I wanted to go to college to learn more about exercise. I enjoy helping others change their mindsets, while helping them take small steps towards becoming healthier individuals. I also enjoy helping others gain strength through lifting weights. I believe gaining physical strength will also help individuals gain mental strength. In my free time, I enjoy collecting records, fishing, watching/playing sports, and lifting weights. I love being outdoors, so my favorite leisure activity is exercising outside.

Philosophy:

Stay consistent, active, and happy, and the results will come. Being consistent with physical activity requires self-discipline and the discipline it requires will help in many aspects of ones life.
