Membership

The Recreation Building is a membership access facility - patrons will be required to have a Recreation Building Membership or pay the daily walk-in fee in order to use the facility. A Recreation Building Membership DOES NOT allow access to the other campus recreation facilities when the Recreation Building is closed.

The membership program consists of the following:

  • Individual membership - available to patrons 4 – 54 years of age.
  • Senior membership – available to anyone age 55 and older.

Memberships will be available for the following length of time:

  • Semester – valid for one semester of the academic school year. Fall semester memberships will expire the day before the start of the Spring Semester. Spring semester memberships will expire the last day of spring classes.
  • Academic Year – valid from the start of the Fall Semester until the last day of spring semester.
  • Seasonal Membership – valid November 1, 2011 – March 9, 2012.

Exemptions: All current Recreational Services Members (including enrolled UI Students) are exempt from needing a Recreation Building Membership, access is included in the Recreational Services Membership.

Individual

  • Daily Walk-in: $2
  • Semester: $50
  • Academic Year: $80
  • Seasonal: $50

Seniors (55 & Older)

  • Daily Walk-in: $2
  • Academic Year: $20
