Building Access:
Access to the facility is from the South entrance only. All other doors are locked from the outside and alarmed from the inside.
Recreation Building Hours:
- Monday – Friday 6:00 am – 9:00 pm
- Saturday & Sunday 8:00 am – 6:00 pm
Recreation Building is closed from the end of the Spring Semester until the start of fall classes.
Building hours may vary slightly due to special events, home football games and home track meets. It is recommended to visit the facility schedule posted online on the Recreational Services website. A facility schedule will also be posted on the South Entrance Doors.
Athletic Department Priority Time:
Members of the men’s and women’s intercollegiate track teams have priority on the Recreation Building track from 9:00 am – 11:00 am and 1:00 pm – 5:00 pm Monday – Friday and from 2:00 pm – 4:00 pm on Saturday and Sunday. The infield area of the track is available to the track teams from 12:00 pm – 5:00 pm.
Scheduling Request:
Request for permission and scheduling of the Recreation Building is handled by Recreational Services.

General Track & Floor Usage Rules:
No throwing, hitting, or kicking objects without specific permission from the Recreation Building Supervisor.
No children under the age of 14 without the accompaniment of an adult.
No bicycles, skateboards, rollerblades, or motorized vehicles allowed on the track floor.
Proper attire is mandatory for use of the Recreation Building. Shirts must be worn at all times.
