How many rounds can you do? How many reps? How fast can you work? If this language is interesting to you, XFIT is for you. This high intensity workout is taught by a Level I Certified Crossfit Trainer and University of Iowa Personal Trainer. You will be taught technique, you will be motivated, you will be challenged. The trainer will also help you conquer your XFIT workout of the day.
In this class, you will practice and train major lifts: deadlift, clean, squat, presses, clean & jerk, and snatch. You will attempt to master the basics of gymnastics: pull-ups, dips, push-ups, sit-ups, presses to handstand, splits, and holds. You will do all these things fast, hard, and with max effort. This class is not your basic routine fitness class. Workouts will be short and intense.
Class will be held in the Olympic Weightlifting Room at the Field House. (Racquetball Court #2. Room Number 217).
