Code: REC2691 Lifeguarding Review
The purpose of the Lifeguarding Review course is to provide individuals the opportunity to review the American Red Cross Lifeguarding course content within a formal course setting to renew their Lifeguarding/First Aid/CPR/AED certifications. The Review Course will also update participants' certifications to the American Red Cross 2012 program release. To be eligible, the participant must have previously completed the American Red Cross Lifeguarding/First Aid/CPR/AED (r.06 or r.12) program. Prerequisites: 1. Swim 300 yards continuously demonstrating breath control and rhythmic breathing. Candidates may swim using the front crawl, breaststroke or a combination of both but swimming on the back or side is not allowed. Swim goggles may be used. 2. Tread water for 2 minutes using only the legs. 3. Complete the following timed event within 1 minute, 40 seconds: Starting in the water, swim 20 yards. The face may be in or out of the water. Swim goggles are not allowed. Surface dive, feet-first or head-first, to a depth of 7 to 10 feet to retrieve a 10-pound object. Participants are required to show documentation of prior Lifeguarding/First Aid and CPR/AED-PR certifications.

Code: REC2596 Ballroom Dance - Wedding Workshop 8
Wedding Workshops include two hours of dance instruction and admission to two Open Practices with Coach DeMarco offered on Tuesday nights from 6:45 PM to 8:00 PM. The focus of the Wedding Workshop is to help couples acquire skills that will assist them in preparation for dancing at the Wedding Reception. They are geared for couples who want to beautifully dance their "First Dance" as a married couple, but are also ideal for, and open to wedding party participants, or other couples getting ready for an upcoming formal dance affair. All workshops are taught by Diane DeMarco, Ballroom Dance Program Director (Nationally Certified). Registration deadline is by 5:00PM the Wednesday before the workshop. The fee is listed per couple. If enrollees must miss the workshop they have registered for, they may attend another workshop instead, but must contact the instructor to make arrangements. Attendees please present a receipt of registration and sign in. If you are preparing for your "First Dance", Father/Daughter dance, Mother/Son dance, etc., and would like a routine choreographed to a special piece of music, you might consider a Private Lesson Package that also includes choreography and music editing. Code: REC2693 Lifeguarding Course
Upon successful completion of the Lifeguarding course, the participant will receive an American Red Cross Universal Certificate indicating certification in Lifeguarding/First Aid/CPR/AED, which is valid for 2 years. Prerequisites: To enroll in the Lifeguarding course, you must be at least 15 years of age before the last scheduled class session and demonstrate the following skills: Swim 300 yards continuously demonstrating breath control and rhythmic breathing, tread water for 2 minutes using only the legs. Starting in the water, swim 20 yards using front crawl or breaststroke, surface dive 7-10 feet, retrieve a 10-pound object, return to the surface, swim 20 yards back to the starting point with the object and exit the water without using a ladder or steps. Swimming skills will be tested on the first day of class. Skills must be completed in order to continue. No exceptions and no refunds due to failure to complete pre-requisites. Designed for Academy Levels 1, 2 and JV or equivalent (ages 10-18). Kids should have USTA tournament or high school match play experience. Camp will be divided according to age and level of play. Camp will cover stroke and strategy, mental toughness, tennis specific conditioning, video analysis, a tournament and more!
